About Me

It seems impossible for me to describe myself, knowing I don't really know myself at all. I would describe myself as misunderstood and unaccepted. I think single mindedly devoted to revealing the truth, whatever it may be. It can rub you the wrong way sometimes but only if you let it. I like amusement parks.I'm the sort of person who likes structure, but not too much or too rigid a structure. I like to be flexible, but I also like to have a plan. I like to be organized, but often have a messy desk (but it's a mess I know my way around in). Friends and family would also describe me as being very dependable.Being a reliable person means a lot to me. One of my personal traits I am most proud of is being creative. There is a quote that I try to live by every day, which goes: "Be who you are, and say what you want; because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." I am who I am, and I like how I have turned out. This quote just reminds me to be proud of the person you are stand up for what you believe in. That's what makes a person into who they are.

Culprits: Telemarketing or service prcivder?

Sometimes I think whether its the fault of the telemarketing companies or the service providers with whom you are registered.

Usually I receive so many calls from telemarketers on my mobile which I had since last 5 years (same no.). So I thought that it could be because I have given my number to so many people and websites, service providers. But today I was shocked when I received a call on my landline which I had registered just 4 days back. The person who called me had my complete details, like my name, address, age and even the address. I have not even given this number to all my friends & family even.

When enquired about it I came to know that they got the list from my service provider. I called up the customer care department of my service provider and asked the executive to put my number into do not call list, he mentioned that it will take 45 days to get activated. When asked the reason, he said that my number has been delivered to various departments and companies so it will take 45 days to get activated in DNC List.

Now this made me think that whether its the service providers or Telemarketers, who are at fault? We keep on bunging on the people calling us to sell various commodities, they do this just to earn their livings. But are service providers doing the right thing by providing the details of their customers to the telemarketing companies, when govt is taking a strong action against the telemarketing companies in order to free people from these annoying calls at odd hours.

The need of the hour is now to stop service providers from sharing their customer database with other vendors.

Hey Guy! - What do say about it?

Regards,
Sak's
